In 2012 we spent a week in Northumberland, here are some photos from then. There’s one more set of photos I may post from a holiday that lasted a few days, but I may not, so this may be the last of the backlog. Which means I have to start working on doing more of the different types of blog posts.
Anyway, we stayed in the village of Seahouses, here are some pictures from around said village:
And some more photos from Seahouses, although these ones were taken wandering along the coast. I think. It’s kind of hard to remember/tell where I took some of them from. Anyway:
And we went on a boat out to the Farne Islands to see seals, and our boat stopped at the island with Longstone Lighthouse for people to wander round for a bit. I didn’t get any great pictures of the seals, but I got some, and there were nice pictures to be had even aside from them.
We drove out to Lindisfarne one of the days. Went into the castle, then had a wander round the island. First, photos taken in and around and from the castle:
A few photos from Alnwick:
Finally, Bamburgh. I went round the castle, so here’s some pictures from that.
And a few taken while walking through the dunes afterwards.
Thanks for looking.
